Holy moly! The iconic Roseland Ballroom, which closed its doors last April after 95 years as a premiere music venue, is currently being gutted to make way for probably a Starbucks or a Whole Foods or something. Some birds-eye photos of the demolition have emerged that are chilling! (And not just because of the snow).

The historic venue, which was located at 52nd street and one of the last big rooms left in NYC, was around since the 1950s, but the building itself has been there since the 20s, and was once a rollerskating rink.
