Dinosaur Jr. are planning ahead to when concerts can presumably return in some fashion later this year and into early 2022.

The veteran rock band announced a lengthy run of North American tour dates on Wednesday, which, if all goes according to the United States and Canada’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout and venue reopening projection, will begin in late July with their Camp Fuzz summer weekend event in Big Indian, NY and will continue through the fall months and into early next year.

The main bulk of Dinosaur Jr.’s 2021 dates begin on September 7th with a show in Montreal, QC, and will continue across much of the central U.S. and Canada for a month before the first leg wraps on October 2nd in upstate New York. Following a month off, the fall leg of dates resumes on November 12th in Nashville and continues until November 20th following a gig in Boston.

The band will spend all of December and January off the road before the tour resumes again beginning on February 3rd in Pioneertown, CA, and will continue over 16 more dates along the West Coast before finally coming to a close on February 26th following a show in Denver, CO. Dinosaur Jr. is also scheduled to appear at the rescheduled Primavera Sound and NOS Primavera Sound Festivals in Spain in early June.

Tour pre-sale begins on Thursday (3/11) at 12 p.m. ET with the password “sweepit”, while the general on-sale starts next Friday (3/19) at 10 a.m. local. Head to the band’s website for tickets and tour info.
