Dinosaur Jr. were back in action over the weekend with a pair of outdoor shows at South Farms in Morris, CT on Friday and Drive-In Live in Swanzey, NH on Saturday. The veteran rock band had something special planned for their east coast fans during their New Hampshire performance on Saturday, as they debuted a pair of newer songs entitled “Long Time” and “Garden”.

As Stereogum points out, but songs were initially introduced during a virtual webcast hosted by member Lou Barlow earlier this year, but have never been played live by the band until Saturday.

“We finished an album somehow during COVID times,” guitarist J Mascis told their audience before starting into the new tunes on Saturday. “I guess it won’t come out for a little while, but we’re gonna play a couple songs.”
