After headlining a completely packed Roseland Ballroom show last month, superstar DJ Dirty South will return to New York City to celebrate his birthday at Midtown hot spot Lavo. While still in the midst of his nationwide ‘City of Dreams’ tour, this recently announced show will sure to be a diversion into a much more intimate and personal setting for the Serbian DJ.
This past summer was a good one for Dirty South, his collaboration with rising star Alesso, ‘City of Dreams’, was a certifiable summer anthem. He also scored certifiable hits with his Thomas Gold collaboration, ‘Eyes Wide Open’, and his remix of Miike Snow’s ‘Devil’s Work’. This momentum has followed through to his recent critically acclaimed tour, and will no doubt be evident inside the small confines of Lavo.
Let’s not forget, this is a birthday party, so this should be one hell of a celebration – anything can happen. Expect bottles popping and girls going crazy. If you want to leave Dirty South a birthday message on a huge card that will be given to Dirty South during his set, you can leave a comment here, or tweet @LavoNY with the hashtag #DSLavoBDay. Doors open at 10, so show up early if you don’t want to miss the show.
