Following a successful four-night run in New York City for New Year’s Eve, The Disco Biscuits have announced plans for their annual Bisco Inferno. The 2018 edition will again feature three nights at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, CO on May 24, 25, and 26 ahead of a night at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Sunday, May 27th for a massive Memorial Day Weekend. As support for the Red Rocks show, the jamtronica pioneers will bring two of the jam scene’s fastest growing bands, Spafford and Organ Freeman, along for what is sure to be a wild ride.
Arizona-based jammers Spafford have just completed their most ambitious year to date, selling out esteemed venues from coast to coast and performing some of the best music festivals in the circuit–gaining huge momentum from their growing fanbase on a national level. Their success has only just begun, with a huge headlining tour ahead of them this winter. Spafford and The Disco Biscuits are no strangers to each other, as keyboardist Aron Magner recently joined Spafford for an exciting cover of “Mad World” by Tears For Fears at Suwannee Hulaween. 2017 was also a very big year for Organ Freeman, the explosive instrumental jazz-funk fusion trio out of L.A. In addition to releasing their brand new sophomore LP, Respect My Art, to overwhelmingly positive reviews, the band mounted their biggest tour to date (a 30+ date spring run featuring supporting gigs for Umphrey’s McGee and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong) and played a number of festivals nationwide including Fool’s Paradise in St. Augustine, FL, NOLA Crawfish Festival in New Orleans, LA, Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, IL, and the inaugural Canyon Jam at the scenic Mishawaka Amphitheatre in Bellevue, CO.
Tickets for Bisco Inferno go on-sale at 10am MT this Friday. Tickets to any of the Ogden Theatre shows can only be purchased as part of the bundle with The Disco Biscuits event at Red Rocks. More information on packages can be found here. Don’t miss out!
