The latest artists to be added to the Mempho Music Festival lineup are DJ Logic and Rob Garza (Thievery Corporation), who will both perform at the Incendia / Orion Dome on October 6th and 7th, 2018. Nestled in the heart of Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, Tennessee, the two-day camping (and glamping) event will see headlining performances from Beck, Post Malone, Nas, Phoenix, and Janelle Monáe.

Also performing Mempho Music Festival are Mac DeMarco, Milky Chance, Rich The Kid, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Juicy J, Lucero, and a very special Stones Throw set, headed by Chuck Leavell and featuring Rolling Stones members Karl Denson, Lisa Fischer, Bernard Fowler, Darryl Jones, and Tim Ries. The Bar-Kays, Larkin Poe, Eric Gales, Danny Barnes’ Space Program, and a tribute to Royal Studios, featuring William Bell, Bobby Rush, Al Kapone, Frayser Boy, & Hi Rhythm will also all be performing. Brandon “Taz” Niederauer will be on site as an artist at large.

The theorem of turntablist as musician has been long proven in the capable hands of DJ Logic, whom with jazz as his foundation has become a wax innovator by crossing genres and sprinkling his sound across the map. As one of the world’s most accomplished turntablist’s, DJ LOGIC is widely credited for introducing jazz into the hip-hop realms and is considered by most as a highly respected session musician and an innovative bandleader.

A vanguard in his own right, Rob Garza has consistently pushed conceptual frontiers. The San Francisco-based producer and co-founder of Thievery Corporation has maintained a prolific career owing to his ever-evolving taste and diverse influences based off the cultures and styles encountered during his travels. Constantly inspired by his surroundings and experiences, Garza’s artistic foresight has always supported a fundamental motif of connecting people through music. As a solo artist, Rob Garza infuses his own adept house and nu-disco artistry into every one of his productions, boasting a specific style that is perceptive, powerful and globally-stimulated.

DJ Logic and Rob Garza will both be holding down the Orion Dome at Mempho Music Festival, produced by Incendia. As Incendia’s website notes, “Incendia is a concept borne of the love, appreciation for, and possibilities that lay within the nature of a simple flame. Marrying the worlds of design, art, and science, a breathtaking environment has been created, thanks to the mathematical grace and precision of the geodesic concept coupled with the application of a proprietary fire-capturing technique.” Check out the magic of the dome below:
