Dolly Parton is already preparing for how she wants to live her life in a post-coronavirus world with her new original single, “When Life Is Good Again”. Released by the veteran country artist on Wednesday, the latest song from Parton was written over the past couple of months during times when there has been much uncertainty in the air.
Parton, who has always shared open-hearted optimism within her lyrics, continues to spread her internal brightness as she sings, “We’ve been brought to our knees/We’ve been so ill at ease/There are no guarantees/But you know life goes on, this too shall pass away/Bring new and different days/We need to change our ways.”
The song’s accompanying video shines a light on folks who are first responders and healthcare workers, and comes to a close with Dolly’s message of, “Be Safe, Be Respectful, Wear A Mask, Lead With Love.”
