Hard-hitting synthwave rock band Doom Flamingo have shared a new single entitled, “& Ready To Mingle.”

The cheekily-titled song released on Friday has plenty of rock n’ roll edge, although Kanika Moore‘s vocals present TRON-like electronica vibes to counter the heavier instrumentation.

“& Ready To Mingle” also marks the band’s first original release since the arrival of their debut Doom EP in May 2020.

“This song to me is a little beacon of hope that we’ll be pushing our way through a crowd again sometime in the near future,” Doom Flamingo pianist Ross Bogan told Relix with the song’s premiere earlier this week. “Lord knows we’re all ready at this point. We’ve got a lot of catching up to do, bring on the roaring 20’s 2.0 A lot of lonely disco balls out there, here’s our bat signal.”
