Dopapod has announced their first tour since returning from a year-long sabbatical in 2018 with a career-highlight show at The Capitol Theatre on April 27th.
The Emit Time tour, named after Dopapod’s recent album of the same name, will showcase some of the most talented musicians in the world as support including international phenoms Ghost-Note, Jojo Mayer / NERVE, paris_monster, and DOMi & JD Beck. The tour will make stops in Philadelphia, Chicago, Covington, Boston (two nights), Asheville, and Atlanta.
Prior to today’s announcement, Dopapod only had one more festival on the books this summer at Resonance Music and Arts Festival (9/19–9/22) and one headlining play at the Ogden Theatre in Denver with Octave Cat (10/5) in addition to a VIP event at Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox (10/4) this fall, leaving their national fanbase clamoring for more shows.

Following the previously announced Denver performances, Dopapod will hit Philadelphia, PA’s Theatre of Living Arts (11/23 with DOMi & JD Beck); Chicago, IL’s Bottom Lounge (12/6 with paris_monster); Covington, KY’s Madison Theater (12/7 with paris_monster); Boston, MA’s Paradise Rock Club (12/13 & 12/14 with Jojo Mayer / NERVE); Asheville, NC’s Salvage Station (12/27 with Ghost-Note); and Atlanta, GA’s Variety Playhouse (12/28 with Ghost-Note).
In addition to the releases of Emit Time and their Live at The Capitol Theatre live album, Dopapod recently released 100+ new soundboard recordings for fans to dig into on Nugs.net.
