Dopapod‘s 2019 Emit Time Tour grooved into Chicago on Friday, where the band was the headlining act at the Bottom Lounge. paris_monster was the support for the latest stop on Dopapod’s fall tour, which has been on a break since their last show at Philadelphia’s TLA back on November 23rd.

Dopapod opened the first set of the show with “8 Years Ended” before turning to the Emit Time tracklist for “Numbers Need Humans”. “Roid Rage” and “Live In The Dream” came next as the set came to a close with “Flipped” and a fantastic, 14-minute “Vol. 3 #86”.

The band returned to the stage to open the second set with “Plaese Haalp”. “New James” came next, which went unfinished as it transitioned into “Freight Train” and eventually segueing into “Onionhead” to close the set. The band’s one-song encore was that of “Present Ghosts”.

Dopapod’s tour continues on Saturday with a show at the Madison Theater in Covington, KY. Head to the band’s website for tickets and tour info.
