Dopapod will hit the road this fall for a tour of the Eastern United States jokingly dubbed, ‘Fall Tour #27.’ In a post announcing the run of 14 shows, the group—founded in 2008—added that the tour precipitates its “36th year of being a band”.

Dopapod’s 2023 fall tour kicks off on September 13th in High Point, NC. The route will include stops at recurring favorite venues for the electro-prog-jam quartet, including Asheville, NC’s Salvage Station (9/14), Nashville’s Basement East (9/16), New York’s Brooklyn Bowl (9/22), two nights at Burlington, VT’s Nectars (9/26–27), and more, as well as a show on September 23rd that is yet to be announced. The tour wraps on September 30th in Mason, NH as part of the Summer Concert Series at The Range.

“As we approach the 36th year of being a band, we couldn’t be more stoked to bring you fresh tunes and vibes for this upcoming 41st round,” the band wrote in a fittingly playful social media post.

Select stops on the tour will also feature VIP (Very Improvised Performances) during soundcheck. The free-flowing, pre-show sets will take place in Atlanta, Nashville, Hartford, and Burlington on night two.

Tickets for the Dopapod fall tour go on sale on Friday, June 9th. The band is also giving away an array of prizes to fans who send a screenshot of their pre-sale ticket to streetteam@dopapod.com. Those who do are entered to win signed vinyl test pressings, signed posters, merch discounts, and more.

“Everyone who sends in an email is ‘going home’ with something,” the band wrote. “Buying presales helps us massively so we really appreciate your support.”
