Dopapod will get back on the road in May and June with a new schedule of tour dates, the band revealed on Tuesday. Billed as the Wake Up! We’re Playing Shows Again… Tour, the spring/summer trek will take the band to Colorado, North Carolina, Ohio, and Pennsylvania over a period of five weeks.
The tour begins in Denver, CO with a pair of doubleheaders at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom on May 13th and 14th. This two-night run will feature two concerts each night, one early and one late. After that comes a three-week gap before heading east to Asheville, NC for a show at Salvage Station (6/4); then Cincinnati, OH at Riverfront Live (6/5); and finally wrapping up in Belle Vernon, PA with a show at Vinoski Winery (6/6). Tickets and safety guidelines for each venue are available now through Dopapod’s website.

Between the Denver shows and the continuation of the tour, Dopapod will also appear as part of the Twiddle and Friends Memorial Day celebration in Lafayette, NY at Apple Valley Park. Twiddle will perform 5/27–30 while Dopapod will open the 27th and 28th shows, after which the band will pass the baton to Aqueous who will start the shows on the 29th and 30th. This flurry of announcements comes following Dopapod’s triumphant return to live performances during a two-night run at the Ardmore Music Hall in Pennsylvania which saw the band perform to a limited physical audience in addition to an extensive virtual crowd.
