When Dopapod hit the stage at The Vogue Theatre in Indianapolis, IN last week, even they didn’t know what was going to happen at the end of their first set. Having previously teased the Pink Floyd classic “Have A Cigar”, the band made an impromptu decision mid-song to actually give it a full-on, debut performance during the show.

As lightning designer Luke Stratton explains, “[Dopapod] teased “Have A Cigar” before in the same position, but never with lyrics and full song form. It’s also worth noting that the cover was totally unplanned and unrehearsed. Even Rob [Compa] had never practiced the tune before. Pretty bad ass if you ask me.”
