Improvisational wizards Dopapod will be playing a Phish Afterparty in Chicago, IL at Concord Music Hall on Saturday, July 19. This marks the second summer in a row that the 4 piece has played the Windy City after Phish’s Northerly Island shows.
Last year, the band played to a sold out Hard Rock Cafe that left a line that was wrapped around the building. This year, the show will be brought to the larger capacity Concord Music Hall to accommodate more that wish to join the party. The venue is easily accessible by public transportation allowing Phish fans to make easily make their way over from Northerly Island where Phish is playing.
The post-Phish concert comes amidst a huge Summer for Dopapod. So far the band has made notable appearances at Summer Camp, Wakarusa, Sonic Bloom, & High Sierra amongst others. The band will round out it’s sunny season by hitting many more festivals including Gathering Of the Vibes, Peach Fest, Camp Barefoot, North Coast, & Catskill Chill. Fans can expect a sensory audio and visual production to be delivered to them in the way that has become signature to the band. Dopapod consists of Eli Winderman on keys, Rob Compa on Guitar, Chuck Jones, on bass, and Scotty Zwang on drums.
