TELEFUNKEN has shared the pro-shot videos of Dopapod performing at the TELEFUNKEN Soundstage last summer in South Windsor, CT.

The two-song performance of “Superbowl” and “Plaese Haalp” came as part of TELEFUNKEN’s “Live From The Lab” video series. “Superbowl”, which was included on Dopapod’s 2019 Emit Time studio album, began with spacey soundscapes from keyboardist Eli Winderman before Rob Compa‘s slide guitar helped to guide drummer Neal “Fro” Evans and bassist, Chuck Jones, into the mix. The song is an excellent example of the band’s ability to infuse their sound with elements of heavier rock, jazz, and vocal harmonies.

“Plaese Haalp” showed off the Boston natives’ ability to bring the funk. Winderman took over lead vocals on the Megamem track, leaving room for ripping solos by Compa before the two harmonized on the choruses.
