J. Cole made dreams come true with the lineup announcement for the 2023 Dreamville Festival. The artist-curated two-day hip-hop event will return to Raleigh’s Dorothea Dix Park in J. Cole’s home state of North Carolina on April 1st and 2nd.
Naturally, J. Cole leads the Dreamville lineup but he will close out the festival’s main stage on Sunday with a special collaborative performance featuring Drake. The one-night-only engagement will see the two artists explore their shared catalog, which stretches back to J. Cole’s 2010 mixtape, Friday Night Lights.
Other artists topping the 2023 Dreamville lineup are global R&B superstar Usher, Nigerian sensation Burna Boy, Chicago trap rapper Lil Durk, trip-hop mumble duo EARTHGANG, and many others. The lineup is rounded out by Ari Lennox, Summer Walker, City Girls, J.I.D, Sean Paul, GloRilla, Waka Flaka Flame, and more. The festival will bring together the entire roster of artists from J. Cole’s Dreamville Records including Ari Lennox, J.I.D, EARTHGANG, Bas, Cozz, Omen, and Lute.
Tickets for the 2023 Dreamville Festival are on sale here. See below for the full lineup by day. A portion of this year’s proceeds will benefit the festival’s official charity partners the Dreamville Foundation and Dorothea Dix Park Conservancy.
Since its inception in 2018, Dreamville has become not just a leading North Carolina event, but also one of the largest artist-led music festivals. Last year, Dreamville returned from two COVID-induced years off to welcome 80,000 total attendees across two days to Dorothea Dix Park, the largest city park in Raleigh. Attendees from all 50 states and over a dozen countries flocked to North Carolina and generated an economic impact of more than $6.7 million for Raleigh and Wake County.
