This past Friday (May 29th), veteran Celtic-punk rockers Dropkick Murphys delivered the first stadium concert in North America since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic with a live-streamed performance in an empty Fenway Park in Boston, MA. The “Streaming Outta Fenway” performance included a virtual sit-in from Bruce Springsteen, and succeeded in raising over $700,000 for various charities in the Boston area, including Boston Resiliency Fund, Habitat For Humanity, and Feeding America.
In addition to the money coming in from all the generous fans the show watching from home, the one-night performance also saw presenting sponsor Pega donate a total of $151,000.
The concert, which is still available to stream for free on the band’s YouTube page, has been viewed over 547,000 times as of Wednesday afternoon. Watch the live-stream in full below.

Thanks for joining us last night for #StreamingOuttaFenway. We raised money for some incredible organizations, and heard some great songs from @DropkickMurphys and @springsteen. pic.twitter.com/pocs3uGzuu
