Earlier this week, Eagles of Death Metal heroically returned to Paris and performed two songs with U2 at Accorhotels Arena in Bercy. This morning, EODM members Jesse Hughes and Julian Dorio returned to Bataclan, the music venue where the horrific tragedy, which took 89 innocent lives at their concert on Nov. 13, happened. According to The New York Times, the bandmates stood for about ten minutes in a heavy rain to pay tribute and read memorials of the lost lives.

Earlier in the week, and before 20,000 surprised attendees, Bono introduced the band to the stage: “They were robbed of their stage three weeks ago, so we would like to offer them ours tonight.” First, they joined U2 for a triumphant cover of Patti Smith’s “People Have The Power”, then U2 offered the stage so that EODM could play their own song, “I Love You All The Time”.
