SiriusXM has released pro-shot videos of Ed Sheeran performing cuts from his latest album, = (Equals), at The Belasco in Los Angeles, CA on December 6th. The intimate, 1,500-person theater show came as part of the Small Stages Series, which sees top artists in music and comedy performing at undersized, yet iconic, venues across the United States for SiriusXM subscribers and Pandora listeners.
Sheeran performed 11 songs for the L.A. crowd, pulling from albums spanning his entire catalog but focused heavily on his October 29th release. Unlike his recent appearance on NPR‘s Tiny Desk Concert video series, he played sans backing band, using only his acoustic guitar, a loop pedal, and a keyboard.

The British singer-songwriter kicked things off with “Bloodstream”, from his 2014 release, X. Next came an = (Equals) single, “Shivers”, before “Castle on the Hill” and “Give Me Love”. Another recent single, “Overpass Graffiti”, fell in the five-slot ahead of the fan-favorite “Perfect.” The evening also saw takes on “2Step”, “First Times”, and the newly released Elton John collaboration, “Merry Christmas”, before he closed the show with “Shape of You” and “Bad Habits”.
