[UPDATE 10/25/22]: Goodbye yellow yolk road: Eggy has announced an Elton John theme for the band’s Haunted Pour House Halloween celebration in Charleston, SC.

The Connecticut-based jam revealed the news with a lighthearted video in which Dani Battat sits at the piano in a white feathered suit and oversized bejeweled glasses à la Elton John as he sings the opening lines of “Your Song”. Guitarist Jake Brownstein joins in, taking lead in a sequined L.A. Dodgers uniform and similar shades, followed by drummer Alex Bailey in a Rocket Man-inspired ensemble. Bassist Mike Goodman appears at the end of the video dressed as Donald Duck—an homage to Sir Elton’s famous 1980 Central Park concert—and instead of singing, he quacks.
