Eggy has announced a special event at the famed Levon Helm Studios billed as the Midnight Scramble on Friday, August 5th with support from Brad Goodall.
The intimate Woodstock, NY venue was designed and acoustically engineered by The Band drummer Levon Helm himself and constructed in 1975 from local hemlock, pine, and bluestone. Well-known as the site of Levon’s legendary Midnight Ramble events, the Barn at Levon Helm Studios has become a landmark for music fans far and wide.
Eggy’s Midnight Scramble will celebrate both the storied history of the venue and the timeless music of its namesake. The band will deliver two sets for the occasion, one acoustic and one electric, in addition to an opening set by Brad Goodall and his trio.
“I’ve spent several birthdays at the Levon Helm Studios,” says guitarist/vocalist Jake Brownstein. “The Last Waltz was the first album I put on when I got my license. Playing Levon Helm Studios with Eggy is truly a dream come true.”
Tickets for Eggy’s Midnight Scramble at Levon Helm Studios in Woodstock, NY go on sale this Friday, July 1st at 12 p.m. ET. Inventory is limited due to strict venue capacity. For complete ticketing details, visit Eggy’s website.
The announcement of the Midnight Scramble comes as Eggy prepares for an eventful weekend at The Peach Music Festival (6/30–7/3). Last year, Eggy made its Peach debut with a show-stealing set on the side Grove Stage to open the event. Eggy’s positioning at The Peach 2022 reflects just how much momentum the band has generated in the past year: Rather than an early-afternoon show on the side stage, Eggy will hit the Peach Stage for Friday’s opening set before relocating to the Mushroom Stage for an additional nighttime performance.
