Fast-rising Connecticut quartet Eggy has released Nashville Tapes, a pair of new singles recorded at 1979 Studio in Nashville, TN and packaged as a two-sided cassette tape.

Amid a national tour with Spafford last fall, Eggy made a pit stop in Nashville for a recording session at 1979 Studio with 5-time Emmy-winning engineer Matt Rifino. On “Broken Bluff” (A-Side), guitarist Jake Brownstein puts down his axe and makes himself comfortable behind the piano as he howls the wistful tune. On the cathartic, airy “Evergreen”, drummer Alex Bailey handles lead vocal duties as Dani Battat (keys) and Mike Goodman (bass) excel beyond their instruments, highlighting the capacity for fine-tuned four-part harmony that sets Eggy apart from the pack.
