The festival will take place online via Minecraft, a popular “sandbox”-style video game that allows users to infinitely explore and create in a 3D environment. Festivalgoers will join the designated servers when the event begins and explore the grounds with thousands of other attendees. Additional artists on the expansive lineup include A-TrakThumpasaurusTritonalDesert HeartsBreakbeat ScienceBorgore, JauzAnna AgencyGravedancerGryffinNora En Pure, and more.

Fans will need two things to attend Electric Blockaloo: a spot on the guest list—links to which are shared by performing artists—and a copy of the game. Minecraft is available on Mac, PC, Linux, Oculus Rift, iOS, and Android devices, with prices ranging from $6.99 to $26.95.

In addition to hours of music and exploring with friends, festival organizers are currently calling on experienced Minecrafters to help build the festival grounds, one block at a time. Furthermore, artists included on the lineup will also join the festival’s Discord server to chat with attendees throughout the weekend.
