On Monday night, Eric Clapton delivered his first of three performances at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

The show began with a cover of “Que Será, Será”, a tribute to the late Doris Day, who passed away on Monday at the age of 97. The show continued with a number of Clapton classics, fan-favorite covers, and rarely played tunes—including his first “Tearing Us Apart” since 2011, his first “Holy Mother” since 2003, and his first cover of Eddie Boyd‘s “Five Long Years” since New Year’s Eve 2012.,,,,

After closing his main set with “Layla”, Clapton returned for the encore to honor the late Prince with a cover of the Purple One’s ubiquitous classic, “Purple Rain”, marking his first time ever covering the song in concert.
