Eric Krasno has returned with episode four of his new podcast, Plus One, which features Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes.
Krasno’s interview with Robinson follows the three previous episodes, which saw the GRAMMY Award-winning musician/producer talk with Marcus King, Dave Matthews, and Laura Lee from Khruangbin.

“One of my favorite things about being a touring musician is meeting other artists I admire, and the relationships we build through the years,” said Krasno in a press release upon the podcast’s debut. “I’ve been able to meet many of my heroes and watched young musicians become legends in their own right. The one constant I’ve found is that they all have a unique and interesting story to tell,” he continued. “Eric Krasno Plus One gives me the opportunity to record some of these conversations and invite you into the room with us.”
During Plus One episode four, Krasno talks with Robinson about a variety of topics, both relating to current events and the musician’s early career.
They start by discussing the current COVID-19 pandemic, where Robinson remained optimistic about the future of live events: “I mean, they haven’t canceled anything for June yet, so we’ll see. I kinda let my anxiety go about everything.” He continued, “It would be nice to get back on tour… and I think people will be one to boogie down, you know?”
As the interview progressed, the duo touched on the Brothers of a Feather acoustic tour Chris and his brother Rich Robinson started earlier this year. They then continued on into a discussion of The Black Crowes’ influences, where Robinson made a point to mention R.E.M.
