Matt Butler’s improvisational experiment The Everyone Orchestra, which employs a constantly revolving cast of musicians, has just confirmed a few Northeast dates.  Conducted by Butler, each performance creates completely different sets of music through conducted musical exploration and audience participation.  Members of The Grateful Dead, Phish, moe., The String Cheese Incident, ALO, and Tea Leaf Green, among others, have all performed with The Everyone Orchestra over the years.

We recently had an EO experience while on Jam Cruise 11, and it was extraordinary, to say the least.  For this string of Northeast dates, the ensemble includes (via Jambands.com):  Al Schnier and Vinnie Amico (moe.), Kalmia Traver and Alex Toth (Rubblebucket), and Reed Mathis and Trevor Garrod (Tea Leaf Green).  For the Philly show, Marco Benevento will open and join the group as well.  Expect special surprise guest to be ann0unced for these performances in coming weeks.  Dates for these shows are as follows:

4/18 – South Shore Music Hall – Quincy, MA
4/19 – The Blockley – Philadelphia, PA
4/20 – The Cutting Room – New York, NY

Everyone Orchestra will also be playing Raleigh, NC’s Southland Ballroom on March 7th and 8th.
