On Friday, March 8th and Saturday, March 9th, premier bass music maestro Excision will bring his Apex Tour to New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom for two nights of high-powered sonic frenzy. The pioneering dubstep producer will also bring along his mind-bending audiovisual stage production experience, fondly known as The Paradox. With the added punch of “225,000 watts of PK Sound,” this weekend of dubstep devastation is a can’t-miss destination for any bass chaser within reach of the Big Apple. In addition to the Excision’s heavy bass assault and otherworldly audiovisual display, the Hammerstein Ballroom shows will feature support from some of the most ferocious bass music producers in the game. On Friday, March 8th, Excision will be joined by acclaimed British producer FuntCase, electrifying Massachusetts native rising star SQUNTO (performing a Mega Chop set), Los Angeles producer/multi-instrumentalist Sullivan King, and noted dubstep upstart HE$H. On Saturday, March 9th, mysterious Denver standout Bear Grillz will lead the support bill alongside a set from Sullivan King, a b2b DJ duel with SQUNTO and HE$H, and a set from California native UBUR.
