Back in early April, Festival At The Farm announced its initial lineup featuring headliners Amos Lee and Dawes in addition to sets from Mandolin Orange, Amy Helm, The Wild Reeds, The Suitcase Junket, Caitlyn Smith, Update Rubdown, Will Dailey, Jesse Dee, The Silks, and Ali McGuirk. Today, the festival has added even more musical madness to its third-annual event, including performances by Trampled By Turtles, Martin Sexton, Joseph, and The Ghost Of Paul Revere.

The third annual Festival At The Farm is scheduled to take place on September 15th and 16th at Prowse Farm in Canton, Massachusetts. Produced by Six Chair Productions and in partnership with Pete and Gerry’s Organic Eggs, the one-of-a-kind event brings attendees of all ages together for live music, local food and drink, backyard games, and an on-site farmers market featuring local farmers, non-profits, and inspired craft vendors.

Inspired by Pete and Gerry’s free-range hens, who have ample room to roam on the farm, and with attendees capped at 5,000 people, the event has become a standout boutique festival, making it one of the most beloved festival events in the Northeast. Festival on the Farm’s intimate capacity, in addition to the farmer’s market and other less-than-traditional music festival offerings like a charity donation to Greater Boston Food Bank for each ticket sold, cultivates a close-knit community among patrons, with the festival’s easy-going and laidback vibe a major draw for returning attendees.

For example, the festival’s focus on family truly shines. For a limited time, kids tickets are free, and for those who do choose to bring their young ones, they’ll have plenty to do. Festival at the Farm has teamed up with Kids Really Rock to present a special kids concert each day, with the Kids Really Rock All-Star Jam featuring Karen K. and the Jitterbugs alongside a who’s-who of New England kids musical artists. Furthermore, the Free Range Kids Zone will feature a host of interactive games and activities including face-painting, storytelling, and magic shows, as well as hen petting with Pete and Gerry’s Organic hens, and Meet-A-Farmer, providing families the opportunity to interact with a Pete and Gerry’s Organic farmer.

Festival At The Farm—going down at Prowse Farm in Canton, MA, on September 15th and 16 this year—is not a festival you’ll want to miss. Check out the full lineup below, and head to Festival at the Farm’s website for more information.
