[1/13/25] FireAid, a benefit concert for communities affected by the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles, is set to take place at the newly opened Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA later this month on January 30th.
Produced by Shelli, Irving, and the Azoff family in conjunction with Live Nation and AEG Presents, the concert was characterized in a press release as “an evening of music and solidarity.” No performers have been announced yet, but the fundraiser is sure to be a star-studded evening, taking place just three days before the Grammy Awards are scheduled to return to downtown L.A.
Proceeds from the concert will support a 501(c)(3) created for the event with the mission to help rebuild infrastructure, support displaced families, and advance fire prevention technologies and strategies to protect L.A. from future fire disasters. Ticketing information for FireAid will be announced soon. Sign up for updates here.
This announcement comes as wildfires continue to cause widespread devastation in the L.A. area. Thousands have been forced to evacuate from the Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Altadena, Pasadena, and other areas, and many homes have been completely destroyed. Events in the area have been cancelled or postponed, including the Critics Choice Awards, AFI Awards, and AARP Movies for Grownups.
