More bass drops on the way. Flux Pavilion‘s got a new EP, Blow The Roof, set to drop on January 28th. The big news? An awesome collaboration with Childish Gambino, the hip hop alter ego of actor Donald Glover of Community, entitled ‘Do or Die’. Gambino has become a huge fan favorite over the past few years with several high profile gigs, and his hilarious rhymes fit perfectly with Flux’s newer style of production.
Speaking of new productions, Flux’s collaboration with Major Lazer, ‘Jah No Partial’, is an absolute banger. Major Lazer’s dancehall revival blends perfectly with Flux’s drum and bass influenced build up and monster drop.
Anyway, more details about ‘Blow The Roof’. Besides the Childish Gambino collab, the EP also features a track with UK rappers Sway and P. Money. The first single is appropriately titled ‘Blow The Roof’ and is pretty much everything you’d expect from classic Flux. There’s also an updated version of last year’s megabit ‘I Can’t Stop’, entitled, what else, ‘I Still Can’t Stop’.
