The Foo Fighters have announced their 2020 Van Tour, which will see the alt-rock veterans commemorate their 25th Anniversary by playing in the same cities as they did in 1995—this time in much larger venues.

Playing shows “in the round,” Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett, and Rami Jaffee will kick off the Van Tour at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, AZ on April 12th, before making their way across the Southwest and Midwest. Following a show at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, OH (5/18), the tour will wrap north of the border at FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, ON (5/20).

The tour announcement comes just days after Grohl confirmed the completion of a new album on the Bill Simmons Podcast. During the interview, Grohl also discussed his latest project, What Drives Us, a documentary about why bands choose to give up their lives to tour in a van. Each show on the Van Tour will see a preview of the forthcoming documentary in which Grohl talks with members of The BeatlesDead Kennedys, Metallica, and more.
