Live For Live Music’s Pre-Phish July 4th BBQ just got a little bit bigger – former Frank Zappa band member Ed Mann, who contributed mallets and keyboards to many Zappa classic albums including Joe’s Garage and many tours throughout the 80s, will join The Z3 for their set of funky Frank Zappa covers. The Z3 also features Tim Palmieri of Kung Fu and The Breakfast, Bill Carbone of Max Creek, and Beau Sasser.
The BBQ will also feature sets from FiKus and The Jauntee, as well as an extensive all you can eat BBQ and as a fully licensed bar, so you can pre-game just a short walk from SPAC without any interference from the police.
The BBQ takes place in the Columbia Pavilion in the Saratoga Springs State Park. It’s just a 10 minute walk from the gates to SPAC and most of the parking in the park.
