By now, most music fans are aware of the bizarre fact that Pink Floyd’s seminal Dark Side Of The Moon studio album eerily synchronizes with the classic Hollywood film, The Wizard Of Oz. A recent discovery that also fits in the discussion of unique coincidental synchronizations between a classic rock song and old movies is the weird combination of “Absolutely Free”, a tune from Frank Zappa‘s first major band The Mothers of Invention released in 1967, and Edwin S. Porter‘s 1905 silent film of The Night Before Christmas.
