After topping the charts in France with their debut album, Tetra, world champion turntable group C2C are coming to take over America with a show at Irving Plaza on April 4th with support from The Knocks (DJ Set). Throughout the 2000′s, C2C consisted of two duos, Hocus Pocus and Beat Torrent, who each produced unique styles of hip hop-fusion. After collaborating on several tracks, the foursome took on the DMC World Team DJ Championship, winning a record four consecutive years.

The four turntablists’ debut album is essentially a one hour party as genres are mixed together with a myriad of noises and samples, blending elements of funk, hip hop, soul, and all types of electronica. Despite the variety of influences and genres, one thing stays constant – this music makes you want to dance. Seriously – try listening to ‘Happy‘ without wanting to jump up and clap along. It’s not possible. In France, the album spawned nine charting singles, including ‘Down The Road’ which hit #1 (and was featured in a Dr. Pepper commercial). This album is full of amazing hits – it could be the soundtrack to your next party.

And if a night of all out dancing isn’t enough to sway you, remember that these guys are world champion Djs. And there are four of them. So you can expect them to put on an  all-out DJ clinic. You might not want to miss this.

Tickets are available now via Live Nation.
