Psychedelic roots-rock group Full Moonalice: The THC Revue have released a new single, “Woo Woo”, to appear on their forthcoming studio album, Time Has Come.

Since officially adding T Sisters and The New Chambers Brothers to the band’s lineup in October, the now-10-piece group officially went from three separate acts to one cohesive music unit, playing 18 nationwide shows for their fall tour and staging their new name, “Full Moonalice: The THC Revue”.

Seven months in as a full group, the band recorded their debut album together at San Rafael, CA’s Laughing Tiger Studio, to be titled, Time Has Come. “Woo Woo”, a T Sisters original, marks the lead single from the forthcoming studio effort as written by the band’s Rachel Tietjen. The band plans to roll out more singles from Time Has Come over the next several months.

“This song is about riding a metaphorical train where the object is the journey and not the destination,” Teitjen said of the new song. “This song seeks to exemplify in its upbeat rhythmic tone the joy of the present moment and how it’s never too late to hop on that train.”

“Woo Woo” finds its most compelling form in this new recording with Full Moonalice. The video highlights the full group in its full potential, showing the fun collaboration among all members of the band and the T Sisters on their roof in Oakland.

Time Has Come will be released in the next several months, with CD and vinyl releases available once production resumes from its delays from the ongoing coronavirus-induced work stoppage. To help fans stuck at home, the band’s graphic artist Alexandra Fischer has shared a piece of coloring artwork to spark creativity and reduce stress and anxiety.
