This month’s Funk Sessions lineup continues the series’ trend of all-star lineups with an exciting septet comprised of vocalist Corey Frye (The Main Squeeze), guitarist Craig Brodhead (Turkuaz), drummer Nikki Glaspie (The Nth Power), bassist Kevin Scott (Col. Bruce Hampton, Jimmy Herring), keyboardist Joey Porter (The Motet), saxophonist Drew Sayers (The Motet), and trumpeter Eric Benny Bloom (Lettuce).
