The semi-autobiographical FX comedy Dave, starring rapper Lil Dicky, will return with new episodes on June 16th at 10 p.m. ET on FXX, the network announced on Tuesday. In addition to the premiere date, FX has revealed a slew of guest stars who will appear in season two, including rappers Lil Nas X, Doja Cat, and J Balvin.

According to an Instagram post from Lil Dicky—born David Burd—filming for the second season wrapped on April 2nd. While there is no official trailer or teaser yet, the network has stated that producer Benny Blanco will return in season two alongside fellow musicians Rae Sremmurd, Lil Yachty, Marc Rebillet, and CL as well as entertainers Kevin Hart, Kendall Jenner, Kareem Abdul-JabbarLeBron JamesHailey Bieber, and Kyle Kuzma.

Dave achieved historic ratings for FX and brought in 9.4 million views total upon the first season’s release in 2020. This made Burd’s self-deprecating series the network’s highest-rated comedy ever, taking the title from Atlanta, created by fellow rapper/actor Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino). The first season had its share of guest stars as well, including Justin Bieber, Young Thug, Gunna, YG, Macklemore, MadeinTYO, O.T. Genasis, Ninja, and Charlamagne tha God.

For those who aren’t as hip-hop-minded, Dave also casts Andrew Santino as Mike, Bird’s best friend/roommate/Phish-loving manager. Throughout the series, as Burd fraternizes with the rap stars of today, Santino stands in for legions of jaded Phish fans who just want to figure out why LivePhish isn’t working.

Season two of Dave premieres on June 16th at 10 p.m. ET on FXX with a showing of the season’s first two episodes. As with the first season, each episode will be available to stream the following day on Hulu.
