American-Israeli livetronica quartet G-Nome Project has just touched down in the U.S. for its first North American shows in four years.

The long-running project, reared in the eclectic Israeli psychedelic-trance world with the American jam scene tradition as its blueprint, will kick off the brief Northeast run on Thursday, May 12th at Milkboy in Philadelphia, PA with support from Catullus. From there, G-Nome will head north for shows at Portland, ME’s Sun Tiki Studios (5/14) and Manchester, NH’s Angel City Music Hall (5/15) featuring The Trichomes.

The G-Nome lineup has undergone various evolutions in the years since its last trip stateside. Yakir Hyman, who co-founded the group in Jerusalem with bassist Zechariah Reich and keyboardist Eyal Salomon, has resumed his original seat as the band’s guitarist. He had previously parted ways with G-Nome Project in 2016 after the Get Toasty U.S. tour and a final show on Purim in Jerusalem. Newly added drummer Eran Asias has also helped pump new urgency into the outfit’s pulse-raising live shows.

Says Salomon of the band’s return to the stage, “The music has never sounded as good as it does right now. We’re so excited to hit the road and show our fans what we’ve been cooking up. In a weird sort of way, G-Nome Project has only just begun!”
