This summer, Galactic will hit the road, joining up with Trombone Shorty for his Voodoo Threauxdown Tour. The tour, which was inspired by Trombone Shorty and Galactic’s vibrant shared hometown of New Orleans, kicks off at the beginning of August and will also feature Preservation Hall Jazz Band, New Breed Brass Band, and special guests Cyril Neville, Kermit Ruffins, and Walter “Wolfman” Washington. Spanning from August 2nd to September 22nd, the tour will also make a highly anticipated stop at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado.

In addition to Galactic’s extensive tour dates with the Voodoo Threauxdown Tour, recently, the beloved funk act has also announced a handful of headlining dates of their own. Interspersed with their shared tour dates with Trombone Shorty and company, Galactic will perform at Fairfield, Connecticut’s The Warehouse on August 5th and at Westerly, Rhode Island’s Paddy’s Beach Club on August 9th. The iconic funk act also has plans to stop at Crystal Bay, Nevada’s Crystal Bay Club on September 13th and San Luis Opisbo, California’s Fremont Theatre on September 17th.
