In mid-February, beloved jazz-fusion outfit Garaj Mahal confirmed that they’d play their first shows in the United States in seven years in 2018. However, at the time, the Facebook post from Eckhardt noted that Garaj Mahal would take the stage on May 10th, 11th, and 12th without detailing the venue or venues. Today, the group—comprised of Fareed Haque (guitar), Kai Eckhardt (bass), Alan Hertz (drums), and Eric Levy (keys)—has officially announced these U.S. performances, which will consist of a three-night run with Genetics in Colorado.

For the first two nights of the run on May 10th and 11th, Garaj Mahal will hit the relatively new Denver venue, Be On Key Psychedelic Ripple. To round out these dates, the group will head northwest, with a final show on May 12th at the Caribou Room in Nederland, Colorado. After reuniting at Element Music Festival in Canada last summer, the run marks Garaj Mahal’s first U.S. shows since 2011.
