New Jersey-bred psych-rock six-piece Garcia Peoples have announced a string of spring 2022 tour dates set to take the band across the U.S. in March and April.

The tour will kick off on March 17th at Pittsburgh, PA’s Club Cafe before making its way to the West Coast by way of Detroit, MI’s Third Man Records (3/18); Chicago, IL (3/19); Iowa City, IA (3/20); Omaha, NE (3/22); and Denver, CO (3/23). A West Coast jaunt will start in earnest with a performance at The Sunset in Seattle, WA (3/29), followed by a run through Polaris Hall in Portland, OR (3/30).

As the calendar flips to April, Garcia Peoples will trek south through California, hitting The Chapel in San Francisco (4/1), Moe’s Alley in Santa Cruz (4/2), The Alaibi in Palm Springs, (4/5), and Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles (4/6). After a romp through Phoenix, AZ (4/8), GP will return east and close out the run of shows at The East Room in Nashville, TN (4/13); Barley’s Taproom in Knoxville, TN (4/14); and The Southern in Charlottesville, VA (4/15).

The Garcia Peoples 2022 spring tour announcement comes on the heels of the group’s recent album, Dodging Dues, which arrived on January 14th via No Quarter Records. Produced by Matt Sweeney (Chavez, Zwan, Johnny Cash’s V & VI), the seven-track record hears the sextet flirt with extensive jamming over its 34-minute runtime and serves as a springboard for a full touring schedule in 2022.

Tickets for all newly-announced tour dates will go on sale this Friday, February 4th. Head to the Garcia Peoples website for purchase options and additional information.
