New musical phenom Gary Clark Jr. will be playing Brooklyn Bowl on Tuesday night (Nov. 6th). This show will be played to benefit those in Staten Island that have been affected by Hurricane Sandy. A $20 minimum donation will be collected for entry to the show.  Canned food and household goods will be collected at the door and would be greatly appreciated as well. Tickets went on sale earlier today, and can be purchased here.

Gary Clark Jr has garnered much attention in the industry after a breakout summer.  He recently released his debut album Blak and Blu, which has also gained critical acclaim.

Clark, who blew up this summer after a string of appearances at prominent music festivals, will play the first of three sold out shows at the Bowery Ballroom this evening. Check out the new official video of him playing “Ain’t Messin’ Around”, from his recently released debut album Blak and Blu.
