[UPDATE 12/6/22]: Gem & Jam has announced a number of additions to the artist lineup for its 15th annual edition, set to take place from February 3rd–5th, 2023 at Pima County Fairgrounds in Tucscon, AZ.

New additions to the Gem & Jam 2023 lineup include a set by Grateful Dead/Talking Heads tribute act Talking Dead, a performance by Snakes & Stars—the new project from Michael Travis (The String Cheese Incident) and Aaron Johnston (Brazilian Girls, David Byrne)—and Denver trip-hop live electronic duo Since JulEYE.

LSDREAM, who will make his Gem & Jam debut in 2023, will also deliver a special live Lightcode set. As seen at festivals like Electric Forest, Lightning In A Bottle, and Okeechobee, Lightcode is an immersive sonic healing experience featuring original music, guided meditations, and sound baths.

[9/20/22]: Gem & Jam will return to Tucson, AZ to celebrate 15 years of minerals and music on February 3rd–5th, 2023. The festival will bring headliners The String Cheese Incident (two sets), LSDREAM, The Floozies, and Emancipator to the Pima County Fairgrounds.

Organizers have assembled a fittingly diverse lineup for Gem & Jam 2023, including funk mainstays The Motet alongside electronic roots act Dirtwire, psychedelic dub producer Ott., saxophone-wielding bass DJ SoDown, and many more. The festival will also host what currently stands as the first performance for Aqueous since the Buffalo jam quartet announced it would take the rest of 2022 off so Dave Loss can spend time with his newborn son.

The lineup is rounded out by The Funk HuntersNereoHaywyreLate Night RadioMarvel YearsThe Nth Power, two sets from rising jam act Dogs In A PileJason Leech, and many more. Many artists will make their Gem & Jam debut next year, including headliners SCI and LSDream, as well as Justin MartinAyla Nereo, Haywyre, Aqueous, EAZYBAKEDJustin Jay, The Nth Power, Poranguí, and Ravenscoon.

Located on 640 acres just 20 miles from downtown Tucson, Gem & Jam offers an idyllic setting of scenic desert land. The festival will offer on-site camping, RV passes, glamping options, late-night sets, daytime workshops, delicious food and drink, a vendor bazaar, and around-the-clock music and art.
