The final George Clinton tour with Parliament-Funkadelic will keep on funkin’ into next year as Dr. Funkenstein has confirmed more performances both in the U.S. and abroad stretching into 2020.
Confirmed on Wednesday, Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic will pick up the ongoing One Nation Under A Groove Tour shortly after the start of the new year with back-to-back shows at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Lake Charles, LA on January 10th and the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, MS on January 11th.

The band’s U.S. leg of shows will end with a performance at the Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival in Indio, CA on February 15th, after which Clinton and company will head overseas for a week’s worth of dates in the U.K. and Ireland beginning in late May and wrapping on June 7th.
As Clinton mentioned with the announcement of the new 2020 dates, “I’m feeling good and the band is at it’s best – there are just too many fans and too many cities that we were not able to funk this year and we can’t leave them hanging like that. So I guess considering all things, what I am saying is, for now, f*ck retirement!”
