Prior to his unfortunate passing of heart disease last year, iconic singer George Michael was preparing a re-release of his Listen Without Prejudice/MTV Unplugged albums. The release was scheduled for last Fall but was pushed back twice before Michael passed away. Ahead of the now October 20th release date, the lead single “Fantasy” featuring Chic/super producer Nile Rodgers, has made its way to the surface through Chris Evans’ BBC Radio 2 program.

The track, originally a B-side of the “Freedom ’90” 12-inch in 1990, was chosen by Michael to be the lead single off the re-release, with him sending it over to Rodgers to add his own magic. You can hear that classic Rodgers funky guitar lick, with some additional disco stylings, re-worked to bring out Michael’s own fantastically salacious vocals. Take a listen to the track below:
