All aboard the Groove Train! Powerhouse funk ensemble Ghost-Note will hit the road this September and October for The Groove Train 2022 tour. The indomitable funk collective led by Snarky Puppy percussion duo Robert “Sput” Searight and Nate Werth will traverse the South, Midwest, and East Coast before wrapping up the tour with an appearance at Joshua Tree Music Festival in Joshua Tree, CA on October 7th.
The tour will kick off with two shows in Tennessee, first in Memphis (9/8) and then in Nashville (9/9). The band will then play at Mo Jazz Music Festival in Columbia, MO on September 10th before heading to Peoria, IL on the 16th and Benton Harbor, MI on the 17th. Ghost-Note will trek up to the Great White North from there, stopping in Toronto, Canada for shows on the 18th and 19th, after which the group will return stateside for dates in Binghamton and Ithaca, NY on the 20th and 21st.
Following shows in Pembroke, MA (9/22) and Washington D.C. (9/24), the band will make its debut at Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia on the 25th. Ghost-Note will continue touring the East Coast with stops in Portsmouth, NH (9/28), Brooklyn, NY (9/29), and Bridgeport, CT (9/30). The ensemble will conclude the tour in October with appearances at Flyday Music Festival in East Durham, NY (10/1), Indy Jazz Fest in Indianapolis, IN (10/2), and Joshua Tree Music Festival (10/7).
