As performers Chris Martin and So Madjozi explain in the announcement video, Mandela famously said that “we could be the generation to alleviate extreme poverty.” In that vein, tickets to Global Citizen Festival Mandela 100 are free. All you need to do is take action on Global Citizen’s platform and show that you’re doing your part to help end extreme poverty to become eligible to win a free ticket.

Starting on August 21st, you can take action on GlobalCitizen.org.za, on the Global Citizen app, or via Facebook Messenger. Just search “Global Citizen” in Facebook Messenger, and you can learn more about Global Citizen and take action. Once you have earned enough points by taking action, you can enter into a drawing to win free tickets. Eligible winners will be chosen at random and every winner will get a pair (2) of free tickets. According to the event website, there are a small number of tickets available to purchase through Computickets starting July 11.
