British progressive jazz trio GoGo Penguin has shared pro-shot footage for their live performance of “F Maj Pixie”, one of their new original singles which arrived on Friday and is set to appear on the group’s forthcoming self-titled studio album, due out this summer on June 5th.

Comprised of pianist Chris Illingworth, bassist Nick Blacka, and drummer Rob Turner, fans who aren’t super familiar with the group may be quick to at least recognize their name and unique sound, as their song “Atomised” was included in the April edition of the Live For Live Music Monthly Mix.

The pro-shot live video was captured during GoGo Penguin’s recent performance at the Depot Mayfield in Manchester, England. The performance is rather stripped, as it doesn’t feature much visual production aside from some subtle lighting techniques, allowing the music’s energy to act as the sole driving force for the video. In typical GoGo Penguin fashion, the trio is able to achieve a much larger sound than their simple, three-person lineup may lead one to believe.
