Goose has announced the coming debut of Bingo Tour: The Movie, a curated compilation of live performances from the CT-based band’s unique “virtual tour” held back in June. The Bingo Tour concert film will be accompanied by a 55-minute, behind-the-scenes look into the making of the weeklong digital spectacle that attracted thousands of viewers from around the world. Bingo Tour: The Movie will be available to rent or buy here starting on November 24th.

The virtual Bingo Tour, which took place over four nights of music and six additional days of community events in an NBA-style pandemic “bubble,” was Goose’s unique response to a summer without the option for regular touring and devoid of in-person festivals. The setlists for the shows were decided randomly in real-time using Bingo balls while fans played along on their own unique Bingo Tour game boards. Beyond the music, fans tuning in via LiveXLive were treated to entertaining clips, live analysis of the performances, educational/wellness sessions, and more. Despite the ongoing shutdown of most live events due to the coronavirus pandemic, Goose still managed to complete a relatively robust tour of drive-in theaters and pod-style venues this fall. While the pandemic didn’t rear its head with regard to any of the planned socially-distanced fall Goose shows, Mother Nature did cause the band to reschedule a pair of Halloween shows originally scheduled for October 30th and 31st to the following weekend. Undeterred, the band went forward with their Halloween festivities seven days later, culminating in a Donnie Darko-themed “Halloween” performance on November 8th.
