[8/19/22]: Last night Goose interrupted their own sold-out Red Rocks debut for a very special announcement: The band will celebrate Goosemas in Colorado this year at Broomfield’s 1stBank Center on December 17th.

The announcement came in the form of a lighthearted video set to the Charlie Brown theme showing the band and crew reveling backstage in Christmas elf costumes and other holiday attire. A drone zooms past drummer Ben Atkins as he spins an inflatable dreidel and through the inner bowels of the venue, offering a glimpse inside a green room where Peter Anspach serves a freshly made pancake to an apparently nude Rick Mitarotonda while the band’s manager does business on two cell phones and a laptop, ignoring the ridiculous scene playing out before him. Percussionist Jeff Arevalo is spotted showing off his saxophone skills in a Buddy the Elf costume while bassist Trevor Weeks plays Santa on a drum riser with a Christmas tree on it. The camera then flies out onto the stage to reveal the empty arena as the announcement appears on screen:
